Michigan’s State Supreme Court is based in Lansing. Twice a year, they travel to different communities and hear oral arguments in front of high school students. At the end of April, the Supreme Court came to Kalamazoo as part of the Court Community Connections program.
United 4 Change

What do you want to do when you grow up? It’s a question kids hear all the time when they’re little. But it can be harder to answer for a high school student. Area businesses and the United Way have teamed up to give Parchment 9th graders some ideas about possible future careers through United 4 Change.
KAMSC Project Day

The Kalamazoo Area Mathematics and Science Center, better known as KAMSC, draws students from all over Kalamazoo County. They study a highly rigorous curriculum in science, mathematics, and computer science. At the end of the school year, Project Day is when the students share the results of their hard work and research.
