Even before Project Connect officially opened its doors to the public, the Kalamazoo County Expo Center on the county fairgrounds was buzzing. More than 50 service providers set up booths and got ready to let folks know about services available to them. They ranged from those providing a free meal, to members of a sewing guild who would mend clothing for free, to a local church that gave away free clothing. We took a look.
